?The POEA has issued Memorandum Circular No.17 series of 2019 (visit POEA website: poea.gov.ph), on the accreditation, assessment and monitoring of Japanes...e language training centers, by the POEA itself. While TESDA still accredits or registers the language centers' modules, the accreditation system of the POEA is aimed at helping ensure that each center has necessary resources, skills, technology and technical know-how, to prepare applicants for working & living in Japan.
?The said POEA issuance included a warning that training centers engaged in illegal recruiting activities shall be dealt with accordingly, in accordance with existing rules prohibiting and punishing illegal recruitment.
